sooo....i was watching oprah today (okay, don't laugh, you know you love her), she had this special on about hurricane katrina.  The footage was amazing.  I can't belive the exent of the devistation, there is hardly anything left.  I can't even begin to imagine what those people must be going through right now; to have everything in your life taken away from you in an instant, not just those trivial material possesions, but friends and family as well. There are so many people who have been separated from their family members and have no idea whether they're still alive or not.  These people don't even have the necessary essentials to live; no food, no water, no shelter.  They are living where ever they can, on the street, in their cars (if they're lucky enough to still have one), or in the many shleters that have been set up.  There are dead bodies everywhere and so many more people dying they don't have room for them. Airports have been turned into make-shift hospitals to treat the thousands of people who have been injured. There are soo many people waiting to be treated that they are putting those people who are too far gone to save in make-shift morgues so that they can die in peace. Most are unidentified, so family members have no way of knowing whether or not one of their loved ones has passed away. DONATE TO THE RED CROSS!!! we have soo much compared to these survivors, we can afford to donate something, even just a little bit, because really, every little bit counts.

well i figured i better write something, since leanne and jenny went through so much trouble to make me this....soooo much homework and other crap that i have to do, i wish it were summer again!!!
